Our work as Clissold Park User Group takes many forms, from supporting biodiversity and improvements in the park to campaigning, organising events and providing information for park users.

An update on CPUG biodiversity activity and issues, including bat walks, bird and bat boxes, birdwatching, the park’s watercourse and a survey of recently pruned trees.

The constitution sets out the aims of Clissold Park User Group and how the organisation operates, including membership, the committee and representatives, meetings, finances and decision-making.

Ken Worpole’s farewell report – March 2011

Ken Worpole served as Chair of Clissold Park User Group for many years and was appointed the group’s Honorary President when he stepped down as Chair in 2011.

His farewell report reflects on CPUG’s work and the changes that took place in Clissold Park during his time as Chair.

Accounts

Our annual accounts show how we raise and use money to support our work for Clissold Park. Alongside the full accounts, these summaries highlight some of the activities, projects and fundraising recorded each year.

2025–26

This was a year of increased fundraising and investment in the park. CPUG raised money through a fundraising event, a Bikeworks event, prints and posters, tea towels and donations, and funded a defibrillator as well as new ramps for the ponds.

2024–25

CPUG supported biodiversity work in the park by funding bird boxes, tree ties, pollinator plants and other planting. Income continued to come from poster and print sales and tea towel donations, alongside spending on an event and the website.

2023–24

Fundraising through CPUG tea towels and poster sales brought in most of the group’s income during the year, helping build funds for future activities and projects in the park.

2022–23

CPUG funded new hedging for the park and contributed to the Healthy Minds Healthy Bodies walks programme. Tea towels and poster sales continued to raise money for the group’s work.

2021–22

Tea towel, poster and map sales helped raise funds for CPUG, alongside a donation from a film company. The group also covered the costs of producing posters and maintaining its website.
