Clissold Park is owned and managed by Hackney Council. Clissold Park User Group (CPUG) is an independent volunteer-run group and does not manage or maintain the park.

Lost property
CPUG does not manage lost property in Clissold Park.

Dogs
Dogs can be off lead in much of Clissold Park but must remain under their owners’ control.
In some areas dogs must be kept on leads, while designated gated areas are dog-free.
Dogs must be kept on leads on the upper café terrace and the grass slope in front of Clissold House. Dogs are not allowed inside Clissold House, the café or the toilets.

Stray or lost dogs
Park staff do not assist with catching stray or lost dogs.
Dogs can be taken to a local vet to be scanned for a microchip or to Hackney Council’s reception centre: Millfields Depot, Millfields Road, London E5 0AH.

Report concerns about the welfare or mistreatment of an animal to the RSPCA: 0300 1234 999
Cycling
Please cycle slowly and consider other park users.
Signs and path markings throughout the park ask cyclists to slow down.
If you have a concern about cycling, e-bikes or other behaviour in the park that requires Council action, use Hackney Council’s reporting service.
Events, organised activities and permissions
If you want to organise an event, activity or other organised use of Clissold Park, you may need permission from Hackney Council.
