Clissold House Café
Clissold House cafe is under new management and the menu now features a variety of locally sourced ingredients. There are now no single use plastic utensils. They will be refurbishing the cafe over the coming months, from new furniture and paint to a repositioned coffee machine and a bespoke front counter. It is hoped that the changes will mean that the whole process is quicker and easier for cafe users. If you have any comments please feel free to complete one of the cafe feedback cards available at the cafe.
Replacement of paddling pool
Work started on the new Splash Pad on the site of the old Bowling Green in April. It is expected to be finished in time for it to be put to some use before the summer ends.
There is bound to be some disruption, but the contractors are aware that they are working in a public place, so hopefully it can be kept to a minimum. For more information please refer to the consultation pages and the outcome of the consultation.
Tennis Pavilion with rooms for hire
Run by Hackney City Tennis Clubs.
The Tennis Pavilion (entrance Queen Elizabeth Walk) has rooms for hire for a range of events from social gatherings and birthday parties to meetings, corporate days and community events.
